Memorial weekend!

We decide to take the kiakes out and go play on the lake with our daughter, however the weather thought differently. So we had to change our plans. We had a camping experience in daddy's backyard.
I am glad we decided to not go up away from Dr.'s. Ended up taking KayLynn to the Urgent care she has a case of pink eye! Poor thong

KayLynn had needed some new sunglasses. She was feeling pretty left out when my whole family had them on and she didn't. So off to the store we went! I think she likes them.

St. Patricks Day Blues! (Green???)

I didnt get to Celebrate the fun of St. Patricks Day this year... Not I ended up having to work and working the night shift that I do, I had to give up my fun night of celebration! Although, I did wear my bright green Scrub pants and suspenders to work!


Look out kids, next year we are getting it on at my place!

I am ready to start Blogging again. A lot has happened over the course of a year! :) some events to go over.

*Moved to my parents for what was suppose to be 8 months (ended up being over a year by 3 months.)

*Hit a deer with My Rav4, transmission problems so I traded it in for a 2010 Toyota Corrolla.

*Lost my Job with IHC in May

* found a job 3 months later working for Buckle inc.

* Got a Job with Granger Medical in West Jordan back in sleep people! I am happy saving peoples lives one night at a time.

*Totaled my car on Redwood Rd rear ending someone! (this is now my 3rd car total, I dont know if 3rd luck the charm or what but I am hoping that I will stay away from accidents for a while!

* Put KayLynn in a daycare one day a week, and she and I love it. They have events and parties to go to all of the time.

*New years, made some goals of being a better mom, provider, and single woman. Try to stay healthy. Exercise and eating right. Plus being more social and not such a hermit.

*Was offered another Job with Sleep and Lung, so I work for them part time and Granger full time.

*Finally I am able to move out! and my move out date is April 6th. KayLynn and I are over estatic and waiting at the seat of out pants to be out on our own!

(Most recent, the picture is of me long boarding down in Spanish Fork around the river! I think I have found a new hobby that keeps me outside. Just as long as I can keep my feet on the board.)


KayLynn is getting bigger and brighter everyday. She is now 2.5 years old and she defiantely is letting you know who is boss and letting the 2's come out in her.

ever since the weather has been nicer she is at the door ready to play outside.

She loves going to the Library and picking up her backpack full of books to read.

She is a singer, and dancer and loves to show off her talents.
KayLynn has a puppy up at her daddys "Rowley" He is 3X her size and she just loves picking on him. She tells him what to do, and demands attention from him.

Soon we are hoping that she will be able to join something fun like Dance, Horse Vaulting, tumbling... She has lots of energy that needs to be used!

New beginnings

So life has brought a lot to me and my small family.

KayLynn is now 17 months old and she has been sick, super sick. She had Phneumonia and it scared both the Drs and I to the point of almost going to the Hospital. But luckily through some prayers and some modern day medicine she is don much better and I am happy to report that KayLynn is coming back into her happy smiley self.

KiaLee has been working hard, studying and keeping herself in the dating scene. (How come no one tells you its exhuasting keeping up on all of it?)

KayLynn is starting to show her Independance these days... And a Terrible attitude!!! If things dont go her way she is bound and determinded to get what she wants. For example. Kay and I we were sitting at home. I was multi tasking watching my TVO'D tv shows and doing cleaning the house.

She no longer wanted to sit in her little rocker chair that Dan and I love oh so much!!! because I was no longer in the living room. so she started to get mad... she is crying by this point.

and yet again. still getting mad! But she is gettng smart for you see...

the Little TWIRP got out of her chair!!!! and when Mommy came back in the room all she could do is stare up at me with scared little eyes like... "what do I do now!" It was the cutest thing I have ever seen... Unfortunatly I didnt get a picture because I had to save her life.

Janurary 3rd KayLynn Maurine Jaynes had family and friends come up and share with her a very Special day where she was given her name by her great grandpa! Great Grandpa Rodeback. Gave her a wonderful blessing. Everyone was very amazed at how well she did. I was so proud of her.

I went to the Hospital today to get my CPR Certification. Now if that wasn't an experience. Sitting in a class room Listening to the instructor tell us on how to save peoples

Dan is working hard on his project in the Garage... Something to do with his Car that he is working on. It really goes over my head. He has been working hard, but Hardly working on work. HaHaHa.

As For Kaybug... that girl is so slimy. She soaks herself within 5 min of getting her out of the tub dried, and dressed. Oh but I love it so much She is in her preteething stage, man is she a crab! Mom might not make it to her teeth coming in, drug her and make her happy!!!

Kidding Kidding.

Went out last night for Jenn's Bachalorette party. We had a blast Went to the Cheesecake factory and then partied all night long dancing and laughing. Made friends with our Driver Tom and he was really nice to us all.
Congradulations to Jenn and her committing herself to one man for the rest of her life. (Nuts!!! Yet only the single ones will say that, secretly they are all jealous.) again, Congradulations and Monday will be beautiful! (Jenn's Wedding Day)

This is our Christmas Tree. We have some presents under the Tree already. Everything you see in PINK is for KayLynn. She is kinda spoiled for her first Christmas. Mom went a little shop happy!

KayLynn, was getting ready for a Christmas Party!!! She was very very happy when she found out that it was going to be at Aunt Nae's House. We had a lot of fun. :)

Christmas Cookies!!! KayLynn and I, we were feeling some Holiday cheer and wanted to share that with our neighbors. So we decided to make some COOKIES.
She was so good about helping me! I rewarded her with a little taste of frosting... she wasnt a fan.

Let it Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow! This weekend my mom had her Work Christmas Party. (they do it early because of the line of business she is in, She gets to busy around the Holiday to have a work party.) We went to Gardner Village, and we saw the Christmas Carol. We even ate at Archibalds there on the village grounds. We had a lot of fun trying to stay warm even though we were really WET. The snow just topped off the fun Day that we had.

150 dollar Lesson!!!

Yesterday after my work meeting, I went over to a friends house to catch up. Chat and see her baby who is 10 weeks old. I parked in the wrong spot. When I go to get in my car for a bag, My car is GONE!!! I couldnt believe it. GONE. Some one the complex that she lives at, Called me in. I had to pay 150 dollars to get it out.
I couldnt really get mad, I knew that were I was parking there was a chance that it would happen and I took the risk. So My friend and her baby took me to provo to get my car out of the lot. Now here is the really sucky thing. I asked when they had taken it, it was minutes before I had walked out. around 8:50 is when they took my car I walked out around 9:00.

150 dollars later, Lesson learned!

out growing New Borns

KayLynn is starting to get really big! She is growing out of her Newborn outfits and drowning in her 3month old outfits. I thought she was so much fun before, but as she gets older she starts to become alot more alert. She coo's I cant get enough the that. In the mornings I have found that she likes to talk. If you talk to her she starts to talk back, Just grunts and noises most of the time. But as of this week she says alot of Ayes, and Kia's. (ya who knew my baby was a genius) She kicks and smiles. But she now also Cries and has a pair of lungs on her!

One of Dans Customers Gave Baby Kay the Flower and headband. It is so stinkin cute I couldnt help or resist the urge to take lots of pictures with her wearing it.

My baby loves to look at things in a whole new way! CROSSEYED!!!

She almost lifted her head long enough, but at the last min she dropped her head down.
